Cisco Call Recording
Cisco Call Recording Using Built-in Bridge Technology
Cisco Call Recording with TAPI
This Cisco Call Recording integration requires the Cisco TAPI Service Provider (TSP) to be installed on the CallCopy Application Server and requires a provisioned Cisco TAPI userid with permission to monitor events.
The CallCopy Cisco Call Recording solution utilizes TAPI for call monitoring through CUCM and CTIOS to interface with CCE. To record a call, the CallCopy Application Server issues a record start message to the Unified Communications Manager using a TAPI command. The Unified Communications Manager then negotiates audio stream network ports and codec between the phone and cc: Discover using SIP on the cc: Discover side and SCCP or SIP to the phone. Each phone being recorded uses the built-in bridge to forward audio streams for each side of the call to the cc: Discover application. The call recording is stored on disk for future retrieval from the CallCopy Player software.
CallCopy also deploys passive VoIP call recording solutions.
