CallCopy Joins Payment Card Industry Security Vendor Alliance
CallCopy, Inc., a leading provider of quality management and call recording solutions for contact centers, today announced its membership with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Vendor Alliance (SVA). The PCI SVA is focused on providing products and services to members of the payment card industry, with the goal of educating members on the business value of achieving PCI Data Security Standards compliance.
PCI Data Security Standards affect many companies, ranging from retailers, Ecommerce, financial institutions, payment processors, and POS vendors. In the contact center industry, many telephone calls contain credit card information. When these transactions are recorded for quality and training purposes, that credit card information is effectively stored in the recording system. At this point, PCI Data Security Standards should be in place.
